Carleton Launch DIO midi
May 21th 2010 --
Carleton Ltd. recently launched the new DIO midi. Now 50% lighter and 30% smaller than the original DIO, the DIO midi is truly a 'handheld'
digital indirect ophthalmoscope that captures non-mydriatic retinal images with a 50 degree field of view. The DIO midi has been designed for mobile digital documentation of diabetes, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration and other
retinal conditions. Weighing less than 1kg, the DIO midi has a convenient carrying case and a single interface cable for both power and data transfer.
Whether used handheld or mounted on a slit lamp, the DIO midi’s simple two-step operation offers unparalleled versatility without sacrificing
image quality. Utilising an LED light source, enables non-mydriatic alignment and low intensity flash image exposure. The DIO midi comes standard with main console, software driver, carrying case and USB cable. The optional ARC software provides an
easy-to-use, cost-effective solution for manipulating and archiving digital images against a patient record. A slit lamp mount is also available. For more information on the DIO midi, please contact customer services on (01494) 775811.
